Quake II was originally intended for modern SGI systems under Irix 6.x only, but I was curious to see it running on my 100 MHz Indy. Unfortunately it performed as bad as expected: ca. 4-5 fps in 320x240! I didn't compile an OpenGL version, as Quake II requires OpenGL V1.1 and Irix 5.3 supports only V1.0. But I ported the Audio Library (AL) module for 5.3.
